Winter Wonderland

If you love the scent of a Winter Wonderland – evergreen trees covered in freshly fallen snow – look for products with a boreal notes. Method’s Frosted Fir Foaming Hand Soap is perfect for any bathroom in your home and has a cute forest pattern on it. You can also bring the scent of a winter forest into any room with the Juniper Ridge Cabin Spray in Sierra Granite or Paddywax Balsam Fir Room Spray.

If you’re a fan of candles, burn one of Paddywax’s Relish Jar Emerald Green Balsam versions. And you can even bring the aroma of the woods to your daily routine with The Northern Beard Company Boreal Blend Beard Oil.

Frankincense & Myrrh

These are scents as old as the tradition of Christmas itself. But although you may have heard of them as part of the naivety story, you may not be aware that these two original gifts are both actually derived from the sap of different trees! If you’re curious about why they’re prized as aromatics, you can pick up Frankincense and Myrrh essential oils and add a few drops to a diffuser. You can also burn an appropriately gold Vanilla and Myrrh Candle, or try a Frankincense and Myrrh hand cream from Crawford Street.

Winter Fruit

Winter fruit such as cranberry or clementine oranges are also aromas that are associated with the holidays. If you love the scent of cranberry, try Buck Naked’s Cranberry and Mint Soap or burn Paddywax’s Cranberry & Holly Leaves Tartan Tin Candle. If you fond memories of Christmas oranges, try a few drops of either Organic Orange Oil or Tangerine Oil in your diffuser. Or smell like oranges yourself with Hugo Naturals Vanilla & Sweet Orange Body Butter or Andalou Naturals Mandarin Vanilla Vitalizing Body Lotion.

Candy Cane

Of course, the sweet peppermint scent of Candy Canes is a Christmas classic. Cute little candles like Paddywax Mistletoe & Mint version or Forest & Waves Peppermint & Rosemary Igloo fill your house with this crisp, clean scent. You can drop Peppermint Essential Oil into a diffuser, or for something even more fun, store Pou-Pourri Merry Spritzmas Spray in your bathroom.

Another tempting Christmas treat is Vanilla Shortbread, and this scent is great for attending or throwing holiday parties. For entertaining, try something different with Method’s Gel Hand Soap in Vanilla Chai. And if you’re going to a party, spritz Pacifica’s Spray Perfume in Island Vanilla, and pair it with the Island Vanilla Body Butter.

Even your hair can have the scent of a Christmas cookie with Cake’s Delectable Radiance Boosting Hair & Body Mist in Vanilla & Cream. And for lips, try either Pacifica’s Colour Quench Lip Tint in Vanilla Hibiscus or Bee by the Sea Buckthorn Lip Balm in Vanilla.

Christmas Cookies

Other delicious holiday scent is that of fresh baked traditional Christmas Cookies such as gingerbread.
