Your Fall Skin Care Routine

Summer’s winding down and cooler months are just around the corner, which means it’s the perfect time to revisit your skin care routine. Think of your skin care regimen kind of like your wardrobe — while you’ll definitely have some pieces that work all year round, you’ll want to be switching it up seasonally to keep things fresh and look your best.

Here are few of our Garnier favourites to add to your fall skin care routine:

Cleanser

For fall, look for a nourishing, moisturizing cleanser like Garnier Clean + Nourishing Cleansing Oil. If you’ve never used a cleansing oil before, you might be a little freaked out about the idea of putting an oil on your face, but I promise that there’s no need to be! This formula instantly dissolves impurities and makeup without leaving any greasy residue behind. Plus, it’s infused with super nourishing oils like jojoba and macadamia oil to help keep your skin balanced and moisturized as you head into fall.

If you’ve got sensitive skin, try Garnier Clean+ Makeup Removing Cleanisng Lotion. It’s a super creamy cleanser that’s infused with natural plant extracts to keep your skin moisturized and conditioned. Plus, it’s made without any fragrance, alcohol, or dyes that could aggravate your skin.

Moisturizer

The temps are getting cooler, and that cool, dry air can strip your skin of it’s natural moisture and dry it out. Adding a good moisturizer to your skin care routine is crucial to keeping your skin supple and healthy. One of my fall faves is Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream. It’s made with pure antioxidant fruit water and skin-nourishing vitamins to lock out dryness while locking in moisture.

If you find that your skin tends to get super dry (or if you live somewhere that gets super cold and dry), try a moisturizer that’s made specifically with your skin’s needs in mind, like Garnier Moisture Rescue Dry Skin Moisturizer. It’s a gel-cream formula made with antioxidants and ultra moisturizing Vitamin E to deeply moisturize and soothe dry skin.

Night Cream

Cold air can leave skin looking dull, dry, and tired, so look for formulas that replenish moisture while brightening your skin and helping to boost the natural regenerative processes that happen in our skin overnight. Garnier Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleeping Cream Anti-Age + Anti-Fatigue Cream combines the hydrating power of a facial mask with the light, refreshing feel of a night cream. It’s made with a blend of natural plant oils and extracts to help boost cell renewal, repair your moisture barrier, and reduce signs of aging for younger, firmer, softer skin.

Facial Mask

6b16110358f27f1341dabea03ed6920b_ra,w403,h403_pa,w403,h403As fall sets in, lots of us are going into cozy mode and staying home more, so it’s the perfect time to add weekly face masks into your skin care routine –they’re fun to use, they’re a great self-care activity, and they actually work. Look for masks like Garnier Nutrisioniste Skin Renew Dark Spot Treatment Mask. This tissue mask (SO fun to use!) has vitamin C to help even skin tone and fade dark spots, and it’s perfect for cooler weather because each mask contains half a bottle of super moisturizing serum.

Thanks for sharing this information. Till date I have never used a night cream because I never felt it was important. I simply wash my face and get into my bed. But this is like an eye-opener to me. Now I will start using the night cream as well.
