Foodie Friday: Superseed Energy Ball Recipe

Naturally sweetened with dates and full of nutritious natural ingredients, this Superseed Energy Balls recipe makes bite-sized energy balls are the perfect healthy vegan snack to help get you through the afternoon slump! Recipe re-posted with permission from our friends at Manitoba Harvest.

Ingredients

Directions

Place all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until it forms a smooth dough. If the dough is not sticky enough you can add a few more dates and blend again. Use a tablespoon to scoop out the mixture and then roll it into a ball. Repeat until all the dough is gone. Roll the balls in the unsweetened shredded coconut and store in a container in the fridge.

    I love Manitoba Harvest’s hemp hearts. My favorite healthy snack is dipping fruit like strawberries or a banana in a mixture of hemp hearts and almond butter. Yum!

    Oatmeal snacks.

    3 ripe bananas and 2cups of oatmeal
    I like to add peanut butter/ cocoa/ flax , chia seeds
    bake for 15 mins at 350 and store in the fridge…
    Low calorie…. healthy fix
